Doggy Update!

I have adopted four puppies while we've been here. At first, it was only going to be one.... then it was two... and now there's four. I was only supposed to feed two puppies, but they're all so cute-- I ended up feeding them all!

All four are good dogs, LaLa and Prada especially. Gucci and Fendi are still scared of us when we get too close, but they don't run away at the sight of us like they used to.

When I wake up in the morning, all four of them are laying by our back door. When I open the door, I get attacked with wagging tails and doggie kisses-- I love it! This is a picture of all four of them, patiently waiting in a line for breakfast:

 Prada is the most recently adopted. Before, she was the most scared one. She would run away at any movement we made towards her. But, just a couple weeks ago, she started to come around more often. Then one day last week, she actually let me pet her and she didn't run away. Now she likes to lie around inside the house and she comes to get petted often. She's definitely the most excited one-- her tail always wags when she sees us or when we talk to her and she's always the first one to jump on me in the morning.

Throwback: Thailand

In the summer of 2009, I spent a month in the Philippines with my mom {which I posted about here.}. Jason was also staying in the Philippines at the time and before I went, we decided we should take a trip somewhere outside of the Philippines, and I knew right away where I wanted to go. We decided to take a quick (very quick!) trip to Thailand because flights from Manila were really cheap.  We were only there for less than a week, but it was still awesome. I really want to go back and stay longer.

Juice Fasting - Try #2

Back in August, Jason and I went on a week-long juice fast. We were inspired to go on one after watching the documentary "Fat Sick and Nearly Dead" {I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet!!}. We didn't go as hard-core with it as the guy in the documentary because we lacked some resources (like using kale, which doesn't exist here in the Philippines), but we still did it anyways and we were still successful. In 3 days I had lost 4 pounds. And by a week, I had lost 8 pounds.

2012: In Review

 2012 was overall a pretty good year. There were ups and there were downs (just a couple)-- but what's life without those, right? From California, to South Korea and then to the Philippines-- many adventures were had. Here is my (very brief) review of what happened during the year along with many pictures. I also backlink to many of my older posts-- just because 1. I'm lazy, 2. this is just a 'review', and 3. I don't want to bore you with repeated details.
